He's averaging 10.4 carries per game and hitting 4.6 yards per carry—solid efficiency against a Philadelphia run defense that gives up more than average. As Washington trails and leans pass, Croskey-Merritt will still see his full complement of early-down work, and one 12-yard run in a game is well within range for a back getting double-digit touches. The Eagles' run front isn't elite, and a single explosive carry is all this number needs.
